婉约,优雅、闲适、赏荷、斗鸟、饮茶……杭州这个被称为“东方休闲之都”的城市,几乎囊括所有跟休闲有关的词藻。八百年前,在南宋都城内生活的杭州百姓,已经懂得支配财富,掌握生活节奏,追求人生幸福。进入2006年,杭州与世界休闲组织一道创立了“世界休闲博览会”的品牌,开启了中国的休闲元年,休闲被赋予了新的含义,成为了时代的潮流。也正因为如此,世界休闲组织与杭州达成协议,将世界休闲博览会永久落户杭州。
Delicate and restrained, graceful and elegant, leisurely and comfortable, the culture of lotus flower appreciation, bird fighting and tea drinking……Hangzhou, the Oriental Leisure Capital, can be described by almost any words and phrases related to leisure. As early as 800 years ago, local Hangzhounese had learned to make good use of treasure, make good control of life pace, and start the pursuit of human happiness. The establishment of the World Leisure EXPO Brand in 2006 by Hangzhou and the World Leisure Organization has opened the Leisure Era of China, and been endowed with a new connotation and fashion. The World Leisure Organization and Hangzhou therefore have reached an agreement on the right to host future World Leisure EXPOs.

The 1st World Leisure EXPO was held in Hangzhou, China on April 22 through October 22, 2006.

The 1st World Leisure EXPO has opened the Leisure Era of China, themed as “Leisure –Changing People’s Life” and “Harmonious Life, Harmonious Entrepreneurship”.
——时任中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理吴仪亲临现场宣布开幕。
Ms. WU Yi, the then member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and vice-premier of the State Council, declared open to the 1st World Leisure EXPO.
——会期内共举办240个会议、展览、文体和商旅活动项目。
During the 1st World Leisure EXPO, 240 programs were hosted in the categories of convention, exhibition, recreation and sports, and trade and tourism.
——会期内3422万中外来宾和市民共同见证并体验。
The 1st World Leisure EXPO received 34.22 million local citizens and visitors from home and abroad. |

合,幻化出“东方休闲之都”的智慧:这是生命中动和静的和谐,更是中国休闲文化之魂的高度浓缩。一笔欲飞的绿色,似龙井名茶飘逸,融合在中国传统的朱红酝酿出的氤氲里,如一片祥云蕴藉着杭州这座以三潭为标识的美丽城市。会标最上端俨然像个大写的“E”,代表了杭州已成为名副其实的“中国电子商务之都”,是发展电子商务的“风水宝地”,并正努力打造成为“世界电子商务之都”和“世界互联网经济大市”。
Emblem: The curling-up water mist drives stress off, and brings relax and energy. Flowing lines sketch an overlapped image of a boccaro teapot and the three pagodas in the West Lake, which implicates the wisdom of the Oriental Leisure Capital, the static and dynamic harmony of life, and the essence and spirit of the Chinese leisure culture. A flying green line hints the elegance of Longjing Tea; the green in the traditional Chinese red, rests the hope of good fortune for Hangzhou. Top of the emblem is more like a letter E, hinting Hangzhou as the Capital of E-Commerce. Hangzhou is a promising land for the development of E-commerce, and working to be the Capital of E-Commerce of the World, and the City of Internet Economy of the World. |

入到这座城市水一样柔美的怀抱之中,同时它也象征着杭州城市水系及其环境与文化的自我更新。2011年的第二届世界休闲博览会,晶晶将继续延续2010年上海世博会上杭州馆“五水共导”的治水理念,把杭州的西湖、湘湖、千岛湖、京杭大运河、钱塘江、西溪等都串联起来,用水的概念,来诠释和展现杭州独特的休闲文化理念和特色。
Jingjing: Hangzhou is a city of waters. A drop of lively and vigorous water is welcoming friends from afar with open arms and big smiles, and symbolizing the self-renewal of Hangzhou’s river system, environment and culture. Jingjing of the 2nd World Leisure EXPO 2011 would inherit the philosophy of Harnessing Five Waters from the Hangzhou UBPA Pavilion, World EXPO 2010 Shanghai, and use the concept of waters (the West Lake, Xianghu Lake, Thousand-Isle Lake, Great Canal, Qiantang River and Xixi Wetland) to interpret and demonstrate the leisure culture and features of Hangzhou. |
