The events of the Second World Leisure EXPO will focus on the EXPO’s theme, embody its features of leisure and being international, center on Hangzhou’s strategy to build an international city and facilitate the development of “Oriental Leisure Capital”. The events fall into four categories: tourism and business events, recreational and sports events, exhibitions, conferences and forums:

These events aim to promote the exchanges and interactions between the domestic and international leisure circles, enable Hangzhou to become a center for exchanging leisure theories and releasing research results in the world, an education and training base, and a hub for practices. The events will be selected through discussions according to the development status of the world leisure theories and leisure industry in 2011.
