1. The construction of Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo Centre, the main venue of the Second World Leisure EXPO, is to be speeded up.
2. The development of the Xianghu Lake region in Xiaoshan is to be planned promptly, and the second phase of the leisure holiday resort project constructed, which will be the main garden for the leisure, exhibition and festival events of the Second World Leisure EXPO.
3. According to Hangzhou’s “Eleventh Five-Year” development plan, the “leisure base”, the tourism and leisure cultural projects for relevant events are to be constructed. The tunnel across the Qiantang River is also to be constructed. Meanwhile, these efforts shall coordinate with the plan to “develop the tourism in the west” and make full use of the leisure tourism resources at districts and counties (county-level cities) to develop a leisure holiday resort circle in the greater Hangzhou region, linking the resorts such as Xianghu Lake, West Lake, Xixi Wetland, Daqing Valley, South Lake, Fuchun Resort, Longmen Town, the Daqi Mountain, the Xin’an River, the Thousand-Islet Lake, the Daming Mountain and the Tianmu Mountain. These resorts will be developed into leisure holiday products and presented in an integrated manner as interactive and experiencing events during the EXPO.
